Shane started out looking for a cheap and effective way to market his real estate services in 2003. After spending 6 months and several thousand dollars testing various forms of advertising, he discovered the power of online marketing.

With a very basic text based website, Shane created his first website. In 3 months he was ranked on the 1st page of Google for very competitive terms in real estate, both locally and internationally. The traffic and conversions Shane generated with this first site attracted the attention of numerous local businesses, interested in landing on Google’s 1st page.

Initially, Shane worked on various side projects, as his main business was President of Private Real Estate company that overseas projects in Alberta, Ontario, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Costa Rica, California and Texas.

In 2010, Shane founded the Canadian Social Media Marketing Association, non-profit organization dedicated to helping local businesses market their local businesses online and generate real results using social media.

Joining forces with Amatia Gat in 2011, Mission Exponential was born. The vision for M:E was simple- empower local business owners with the knowledge, tools and resources to grow their business using the internet.

Nothing fancy- in business the only thing that matters is the bottom line, more clients, happier clients and repeat clients. M:E is focused on keeping the online marketing simple, delivering your business with results.

Today, Shane consults with entrepreneurs in Canada and the US grows their business leveraging online marketing.
